The Performance Graph shown above is different from all the others in this section because it has a lower Breathing Rate of only 37 Liters per Minute (Moderate Work). Note that this graph shows a final "EXT WORK OF BREATHING" number of only 1.00 joules per liter. Compare this to the graph for the same regulator with all other test criteria the same except for a 62.5-LPM Breathing Rate (Heavy Work). The point is that changing this demand rate is often unnoticed, but the result looks much better to the untrained eye.

Note: The chart shown above was commissioned by Rodale’s Scuba Diving Magazine for an article rating several different Scuba makes and models including Zeagle.  The charts were produced by software created by the maker of the ANSTI test machine that was used.  Scuba Labs, Inc. performed the tests for Rodale’s at their facility.  Zeagle Systems, Inc. did not have any input in the testing process or the printed results. Because the regulators were tested in a large pressurized water filled vessel, the room temperature did not affect the tests and the room temperature transducer was not connected to the computer.  That is why the room temperature is listed as 0º F on the chart.
