ZEAGLE RECALLS SPORT BCD INFLATORS DUE TO AUTOMATIC INFLATION HAZARD
Zeagle is issuing an important recall regarding inflators on Zeagle Sport BCDs.
There exists a possibility that buttons on inflators of Zeagle Sport BCDs purchased between August 1, 2015 and August 31, 2018, may break or fracture leading to a rapid loss of air or auto inflation of the BCD.
It is of the utmost importance that if you have a Sport BCD with an inflator that is affected by this recall, that the inflator be replaced as soon as possible.
While no incidents have occurred related to this product recall, the possibility of an incident does exist. We strongly recommend that dealers and end users take all necessary precautions when dealing with life support equipment.

STEP 2 (2 OF 3): Identify the serial number of the product(s). The product serial number can found on the tag inside the BCD pocket (see Figure 1).
The part number, model name and serial number are also located on the label on the outside of the bag (see Figure 2). The model name can also be found on the inflator hose retainer strap (see Figure 3).
STEP 3 (3 OF 3): Confirm the serial number of the product(s) is affected by typing in the serial number below:
If you have determined that you have a Sport BCD with an inflator(s) affected by this recall, you have FOUR options for obtaining a replacement inflator.
1. Request a replacement via the below web form (FASTEST METHOD: 3-5 business days) and complete the service. Replacement instructions can be found here: Replacement Instructions.
2. Contact or bring your BCD to the nearest authorized Zeagle Dealer for further assistance (up to 4 weeks turnaround).
3. Contact Zeagle directly at 1.888.270.8595 ext. 4 for further instructions on how to proceed (up to 6 weeks turnaround).
4. Email Zeagle directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for further instructions on how to proceed (up to 6 weeks turnaround).
If you choose method 1, request a replacement inflator via the web form (FASTEST METHOD), from the above, instructions on how to replace the inflator will be provided with your replacements. By completing the below form and accepting the replacement, you are certifying that you will replace the affected inflator in your possession with the replacement inflator and dispose of the old inflator in an environmentally appropriate manner.
